Our Work
The Centre for Global Equity in Emergency Medicine (the GEM Centre) unites emergency medicine physicians from the University of Toronto and beyond with a commitment to global health and health equity. Since our inception over 15 years ago, we have engaged over 90 faculty and learners in over 45 projects spanning research, education, and capacity building to advance equitable emergency care for all.
